"Nature's Time"
All the 5 June, countries around the world celebrate environment day.
This year, the commemoration focuses on biodiversity by paying more attention to the slogan “the time of nature”.
June also coincides with the month of nature and the defenders of this nature are invited to share their commitment by sending amateur videos on social networks.
It belongs to the team of the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD) collect videos, to compile them, editing them and broadcasting them again on social networks and the national television channel.
"This is the year when, more than ever, the world can signal strong will for a global framework that will “bend the curve” on biodiversity loss, for the benefit of humans and all life on Earth. We therefore call for solidarity and cooperation at all levels.. Celebration in Majunga with the Alliance Française
On this occasion, the Alliance Française de Mahajanga offers some activities and competitions around the theme.
This is how from 5:30 p.m. this Saturday, the film Arbres by Sophie Bruneau and Marc-Antoine Roudil will be shown in the hall of the alliance. A movie of 50 minutes which tells the big differences and the small similarities between the Tree and the Man with the pregnant idea that the tree is in the vegetable kingdom and that the man is in the animal kingdom.

The Alliance also offers a photo contest which always aligns with this objective of raising awareness on the protection of the environment..
The rule is simple : Capture the biodiversity around you !
Internet users will designate the lucky winner of this photographic competition.. And never two without three ! The Mahajanga AF media library also highlights the works on the theme of the environment available on its shelves during this week..
Then, a round table will be held on the premises this 5 June at 10 a.m.. Local experts and actors will talk to the public. We will talk about the solutions that would guarantee the cleanliness of the Edge, at Soma Beach, and the Little Beach. Very busy places but not always very clean. (Midi Madagascar)
